MOHONANADA COLLEGE - DURGAPUR, WEST BENGAL

Academic Achievement :

During last two academic session, the performances of the students of this College will reflect the standard of teaching of this College. During the session 2003-04, 48% of students passed in 1st class while 72% (approx) of students passed in the 1st class during the session 2004-05. Final Examination of the University of this session (2005-06) is yet to be held.

Co-Curricular Activities :

Mohanananda College Cup; Inter-school Football tournament, is organized by the Mohanananda College. The College teams also participate in various tournaments viz, Football, Cricket, Volley Ball tournament. Mohanananda College became the champion in a local cricket tournament –2006.

Other Activities :

Seminar & workshop on Micro & Macro teaching and Unit tests are organized. Beside the assignment work of the University , other field work is also encouraged. The trainee are usually engaged in different types of social and cultural activities e.g., Celebration of Foundation Day, Fresher Welcome, Sharad Arghya, Annual Sports, Annual Social Function, Various Social Function, Saraswati Puja, Wall Magazine(Arkapatra), Magazine(Beekshan),etc.
